The Morningside Snapper is a serial killer who operates in Central Virginia. Also known as The Tan Snapper, because of the way he is said to conduct a series of taunting snaps of the jaw before attack, along with the sheen of his light brown coat. The Morningside Snapper has murdered at least seven victims and has maimed countless others between December 2004 to the present. Numerous suspects have been named by law enforcement and amateur investigators, but no conclusive evidence has surfaced. His identity remains unknown.
